Homebase is back to share what’s coming this week (and next) to Fortnite Save the World. 

We’re going to be spending some time over the coming weeks to take a look at rebalancing some of our underperforming Hero Perks and class abilities. There’s a huge list of perks we’re looking at and will be making balance changes to a handful of these perks at a time.

We’re hoping that these changes will land sometime during Save the World’s next season and looking forward to your feedback!

Coming May 15 at 8PM ET - Hybrid, the fire dragon returns to the Event Store.

 

Hybrid, Brings the flame to Dragon Slash!

“Become the Dragon” - Hybrid
 

• Standard Perk: Fire of the Dragon
  • Increases Affliction Duration by 34%.
• Commander Perk: Fire of the Dragon+
  • Increases Affliction Duration by 67%. Dragon Slash applies Affliction, which deals 15 base Fire Damage per second for 3 seconds

Coming May 22 at 8PM ET - Embrace pirate power with Sea Wolf Jonesy and the Bundlebuss! 

 

Sea Wolf Jonesy Returns with the Tide!

“I’m on the hunt for treasure--and husks” - Sea Wolf Jonesy
 

• Standard Perk: High Tide
  • Increases your Shockwave damage by 55%.
• Commander Perk: High Tide+
  • Increases your Shockwave damage by 55%. Additionally, Shockwave activates a second time immediately after use.

 

The Dreaded Bundlebuss Returns!

Unleash the might of the Bundlebuss! This Flintlock rifle packs a powerful burst shot. 
 

 

Deimos, Accompanies the May Fortnite Crew Pack!

“Travelers beware on the road to the next world” - Deimos
 

• Standard Perk: Corrupted Aura
  • During Shadow Stance, Deal 6 base damage per second to nearby enemies.
• Commander Perk: Corrupted Aura+
  • During Shadow Stance, Deal 20 base damage per second to nearby enemies.

May 2021’s Fortnite Crew Pack features full, permanent access to Save the World along with the skeletal soul-snatching Ninja, Deimos as a new Hero in Save the World. 

Alongside Deimos, May’s Crew Pack comes with all other items from the upcoming Neo Underworld Set: the Sorrow’s Edge Back Bling (a blade from a fallen traveler), the fate-grasping Sorrow’s Reach Pickaxe, the soul-comprised Doomed Echo Wrap, and the Deimos Skull Stalker Loading Screen. 

When it comes to alternate Styles, the Deimos Outfit, Sorrow’s Edge Back Bling, and Sorrow’s Reach Pickaxe come in both black-and-red and black-and-green. Additionally, the Deimos Outfit, Back Bling, and Pickaxe have a ghastly black-and-green glow variant.

Note: The Cosmetic items of this Pack will be shared through Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative game modes. This new Pack series will have no impact on existing Founder daily login rewards or their V-Bucks earned, which is exclusive to early access Founders. These outfits may appear in the item shop in the future.
