Reboot a Friend is back! With the recent launch of Chapter 2 Season 6, now’s a great chance to invite your friends back to the fun and show them what’s new.

Between April 6, 2021 and April 26, 2021, earn free rewards by inviting and playing Fortnite with friends that haven’t played in 30 or more days.

How can you participate in Reboot a Friend? Follow these easy steps:

1. Head over to the Reboot a Friend website.
2. Choose up to three eligible friends you’d like to reboot.
3. Play games with those friends to earn points and receive prizes.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE REBOOT A FRIEND PROGRAM?

Anyone can log into the Reboot a Friend website and check and see if they have friends eligible to be rebooted.

HOW LONG DOES REBOOT A FRIEND LAST?

Reboot a Friend is available from April 6, 2021, at 3 AM ET through April 26, 2021, at 2:59 AM ET.

WHAT REWARDS CAN I EARN?

There are four total rewards you can earn from Reboot a Friend. Those include the Reboot Spray, Heartbeat Wrap, Toxic Flash Glider, and the Plasma Carrot Pickaxe (2 variants)

ARE THESE REWARDS EXCLUSIVE?

These are not exclusive items. The rewards that are a part of Reboot a Friend between April 6 and April 27 have never been released before. However, at some point, they may be available for purchase.

HOW DO I GET REWARDS?

Both invitees and those inviting friends can unlock rewards by playing games together. Rewards will be granted to your account within seven days of unlocking them through progress. Playing a game with a rebooted player earns you and that player 100 points. Every game after that is worth 10 points.  

WHICH OF MY FRIENDS ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE REBOOTED?

To reboot someone in Reboot a Friend, you’ll need to have friends on your Friend List who meet the program requirements. Most notably, only friends who haven’t played Fortnite for 30 days or more can be rebooted.

WHAT DO I DO IF I DON’T HAVE ANY FRIENDS WHO HAVEN’T PLAYED IN 30 OR MORE DAYS?

No problem! If you have no rebootable friends, you can still earn points by selecting any friend on your friend list as a squadmate. You’ll be able to earn 10 points per game with these friends. Note: you won’t be able to score the 100-point first-game bonus.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY FRIENDS LIST CHANGES?

Your list of eligible friends is locked when you first log into the campaign website. Afterward, adding or deleting friends won’t change your eligibility.

HOW MANY FRIENDS CAN I REBOOT?

You can reboot up to three friends at a time.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REBOOT A FRIEND REWARDS?

The prizes will be issued to all winners within seven days of unlocking them.
