Fortnite: Save the World Loot Llama Purchasers to Receive 1,000 V-Bucks

We used to offer random item Loot Llamas in Fortnite: Save the World, which was an in-game purchase option where you wouldn’t always know what you were getting. While some of you enjoyed purchasing random item Loot Llamas and being surprised by the content unlocked, others were disappointed. So we decided a better experience for players was to be upfront and outline the details of in-game purchases -- through the Item Shop and with new “X-Ray” Llamas.

Whether you were a fan of random item Loot Llamas or not, with preliminary approval for a class action settlement, we’re awarding 1,000 V-Bucks to anyone that purchased a random Loot Llama. While this settlement was for U.S. players only, we have decided to make this benefit available to players globally. There’s no action needed on your part, and you should receive your V-Bucks within the next few days.

Purchased an Event Crate or a Key that was used to open a Crate in Rocket League? Expect to receive 1,000 Rocket League Credits.

I purchased a random item Loot Llama and have not received my 1,000 V-Bucks. What can I do?

If you made a Loot Llama purchase in Fortnite: Save the World prior to their discontinuation, there’s no action required on your part to receive the 1,000 V-Bucks. All players who are meant to receive this will see the V-Bucks in their account over the next few days. 

Will I receive more V-Bucks if I purchased more than one Loot Llama in Fortnite: Save the World?

No, you will only receive one grant of 1,000 V-Bucks.

Will I receive 1,000 V-Bucks if I purchased an “X-Ray” Llama?

No. X-Ray Llamas display their included contents and therefore are not part of the settlement, which is for random item loot boxes.
